Hi,

I have just made my site, im just looking for some advice on what could be improved and what you generally think of it. The subjects of the site will not appeal to a lot of people.

the URL is http://www.ghostorbsociety.com

Thanks in advance for your comments

Tone

((EDIT)) Have made loads of changes, and gone with a completly new layout.

Could you please let me know what you think of the **Improved** site.

Would like to know what you think of the forum and the image page where registered users can add there own images that they have got.

Didnt get a lot of comments last time so would be good if more people could comment.

I understand that the site wont appeal to a lot of people but please take the time to review layout etc.

Many thanks'

Tony

I am on Linux and never got Java installed properly, your page comes up but it's all dishevelled. I am not sure if that is related to echallenged problem or my lack of java....

Also a few images aren't comming up, when I try to access them directly I get:
The image “http://www.ghostorbsociety.com/assets/images/db_images/db_Photo_21.jpg” cannot be displayed, because it contains errors.

So it seems like something on your server is messy.

I think Java is killing your website. I never actually waited for the thing to load in IE. In FireFox everything was all dishevelled, to use b_heyer's term.

1) Top banner not loading.
2) Side Menus are not readable.
3) Gallery pics are not loading.

I'm on window xp, and 98 right now.

suggest: check the directory if your images files are in the
right directory.;)

Good luck, hope to see the change soon.

Your url DOES attract me somehow, very interesting.
By looking at url, I would've visited...:)

Try this on for size. (make sure you change the width, height, ect..)
Code: [ Select ]
scrooling marquee code string
<marquee behavior="scroll" direction="left" height="0" width="0" scrollamount="1" scrolldelay="50" onMouseOver="this.stop()" onMouseOut="this.start()">what needs to be scrolled<marquee>

Tone2k11,

Friend, it looks *FANTASTIC* now.
Your banner showing, your side
menus work properly and contents
are extremely *creeepie*. I mean
pictures are actually loading now.

Wonderful website, I rate 10/10
plus bonus.

I was a maniac of those pictures
and had lots of them in my comp
actually. ;)

Good luck with your site, and
if you need a link exchange,
always welcome. Just email me:)
