SITE REVIEW: I just wanted to get your opinions

Whats up everyone,

I wanted to get your opinions on some new websites I just finished developing. Let me know what you think. These are all CMS websites, using the Typo3 content management system which I have been working with for a couple of years.

In hurricanfabric , color scheme almost perfect except the brown color sideback , look odd with black and white text color.

ehh i disagree with you masli.

For the first site design, I really like the dark colors you've used (suits your site's theme). For your site's logo/name I would make it a bit larger.

I had a look at http://www.hydroponichomes.com

although as you said it is a standard CMS, the site doesn't grab my attention. Not sure how you would for this product though!

I would have a look at sorting out your URL's as they are not search engine friendly.

Thanks for the input everyone. Eski009, I am working with the SEO friendly URL extension at this moment for Typo3 but it is a pain in the butt. So hopefully I will be able to make them SEO friendly soon.

The HydroHomes.com website is a tricky site. I looked for some reference sites, but they are all terrible when it comes to design. Not to mention how careful you have to be marketing them.

You should have seen the first site design for HurricaneFabric.com lol.

black and brown really don't mix can't read whatever it say's otherwise i like the design

I like the sites (especially #2 and #3)

I would change the brown sidebar on the first layout to something that would blend with the blue.

In "hydroponichomes" it would be good to make the main picture into a flash object and make it fade through images. the colours are good and work well.

The third site is my favorite of the 4, but i would change the menu color.

The first site loaded in Firefox had some images overlapped. May want to check that out. The second site with the white on gray links in the left column are very difficult to see.

This is a rather old thread, but now that I see it again I like the 3rd and 4th site.

i guess its okay but still ..
