Hey there

Here's a critique...

The color is ok, just that the buttons are too big and the font in them (Times New Roman) is too nasty.

If you wand a good transparency, use PNG files instead of GIF for the corner image and choose "Alpha Transparency" in the file optimize panel for image output. I guess you're on fireworks, your signature looks like FW-made anyway.

In general your site graphics are just too big and I have a 1024x768 res.

Keep on working in fireworks, it's ideal for site slicing etc..

cheers

The one thing I definetely think you can improve is the menu. When I put the cursor over the dots it works fine, but when I put it over the words (which is how I had tried first), it's really hard to get it in the right spot to light up. Not sure if that makes sense.

My laptop is 1024 x 768 and the width of the site is ever so slightly off the screen on the right. It just misses the 't' in 'support.'

It's a nice professional appearance, which makes me wonder about a couple of things...

Please pardon my ignorance, but as someone who first visits the site, the front page doesn't look like a FRONT PAGE with the messages taking such a prominent role. Could a link be provided to the messages? The disclaimer (To Storm Hosting Free WebHosting we provide this service to you at no cost but we will try to keep the service running as best we can.) gives an air that lacks self-confidence. Is there a better way to word that perhaps?

Also, since the site does have such a corporate appearance, it seems a bit out of character to have the "business partners" listed by first names.

Again, I'm no expert so take these criticisms with a grain of salt.

swami....err...u lost me on the first line, there is no support on my website?...and about stormhosting?...u lost me m8, u may have seen the page when the host was down and it was forwarded to a search engine?

and the sytax error, that happens on all *plum* pages. nothing can be done about it, my last website had it as well, as soon as i moved it the error was gone, geocities tries to make the screen small so they can put a banner on it, and i think that is y there is an error

in reply to seeing kabals flash website, i think the use of more colors could be used, ive seen his work before, clearly he likes the use of red in his website, contribute this and make a site with all kinds of shades of reds and different colors that make it stand out. so far the site is making process, i would say that the news and the way the text comes down should appear and not come down in that way.

i see this making a good flash site and a huge improvement from your previous website in html. this will keep me visiting for sure.

Sorry kalbal. I guess I caught your site (repeatedly over a period of time!) being redirected to your host. In fact, I've just been trying to your site and the host is unreachable. Maybe your first step should be to get a more reliable hosting service!
