The logo is way to far away and the navigation bar is strangely placed. Move it to the top or left of the page. The logo and nav bar(if you put it on top) do not have to be in the same table as the main content. Also height="100%" does absolutely nothing.

Change the text so it's more readable if you can.

If you're doing web design and graphical work, you have to have a perfect site.

Home should be top on the navigation list.

Contact section could be expanded.

Do you mention your price anywhere?

Why do you use a Registered Trademark symbol at the bottom of the page? Usually that goes beside whatever is trademarked, perhaps your logo. And trademarking is not usually used unless it has been legally done.

To start your own web design website. You need to show what you can do.
1- Re-deign you website, make it look good. Put all of your efforts in it. Use stunning images and layout for eye catch.
2- Don't leave any dead links on your page
3- provide an estimate form
4- you portfolio is a dead link. You don't have to wait to do work for clients, so you can post their websites on yours. You can design some extra stuff to post on your site.
5- Use Flash content (not for the whole website) Just to show that you know how to work on Flash.
6- Provide a list of the programming languages and softwares that you know how to use.
7- Where is your META TAGE ???? Keywords/description/robot/...
8- Don't use any script for your main Menu ... most of the search robot can't read your links within script
Regards,
T.R.

you need to add some eye catching colors, I mean is this not some type of designing CO.? you need to be a little more bold, or maybe not so much color being bold but the use of the color more grabbing. The layout needs a little cleaning up.

It's certainly better than you're previous design but its hard to take a specialist 'web design' company seriously when they use tables, not pure CSS :? :?: We all use them but try to keep them to a minimum for tabuluar data retrieved from a file/database - in an ideal world. You shouldn't be using them to outline your whole website.

Personal taste but i think your domain would look 50 times better if you swopped the black background for a white one. It's not very corporate but then i dont know what your target audience is ... :?:

Good luck though.

Cheers, Prime ...

Hi! Honestly, I think it looks like you bought a template and inserted your text into it. I am not saying you did, that is just what it looks like. The body text just doesn't match the 3d feel of the site. The body headings are too big. Scale them down and maybe make them a 3d image to tie in the rest of the site. Use background div colors to break up and organize the body text.

This is not really needed but I think you can improve on the menu by adding rollover links :)

Very sorry to say this but it looks kind of cheap for me... Looks like you don't know what you are doing... I am not trying to be a smart ass here... but is very hard/impossible to design for yourself... like a doctor cannot consult himself, a designer cannot design for himself... I think the better thing is to ask a designer friend to make a layout for you... you know... you can see a lot better the others than yourself... better to ask others about yourself :)

it was stated that the layout was a template and was used until i got my layout done.

which it now is, just working on a new menu for it and waiting for a friend to get her stuff over to me to add to it.

also working on a Flash style portfolio which hopefully my friend can help with because she uses Flash alot, where as i prefer Photoshop or Gimp.

an order form is also being created for it so as to give people their options and us some idea of their requirements.

This layout i am using i did create, but by following a tutorial. this is not a permanent layout but it's certainly better than what i had.

as for the CSS remark, yeah i understand, but i've found it (for me personally) to use tables instead of CSS to be slightly easier for me to edit / change etc...

Seriously guys thanks for the Critique.

Hi Lamia,

Your site has certainly improved alot since I last saw it :D however ...

... everybody finds tables easier than CSS, but pure CSS is 10 times more powerful. You can combine the two as part of your learning curve but using CSS differeniates between the pro's and the amatuers. You need to tackle the learning curve if you want to be taken seriously and pursue in this field ... Don't be disappointed, just remember that computers are a continuous learning curve, you must keep improving and CSS is your next logical step :D

Good luck.

Cheers, Prime ... :D

the banner looks good. however, it doesnt flow with the rest of the website. The colors you used for text dont really go good either. add some kid of roll over effect to the text. maybe make it a little bigger and more like a navigation. if you went with a lighter blue you would be amazed at how much better it would look. I would go with the color of the banner to replace the dark blue lines. maybe something like this?

Image

just seems to look better to me.

it could use a little more work to actually look "professional". however, you do have a good start. keep workin at it!
