The site is kinda flat as far as coloring and design elements go, which might not be a bad thing (its more of an observation). The layout is an intuitive blog layout. Not sure about the code, SEO, or anything else I'll leave that to some other folks.

It was my intention to keep it simple... I don't like to read blogs with all sorts of flashbanners and stuff like that, that's why I chose this kind of design. Many thanks for the review!

Gotcha. I totally agree. I find that flashy things can easily become more of a distraction then a good piece of content.

Very neat site.

I felt color combination can be improved by differentiating bckground and font colors further

Witch color combination would you prefer? Red and white? Maybe a lighter blue? What do you think?

I think you can stay with your current color scheme. You could add some slight variations of the current colors ( a little lighter or darker) to create depth if you want. You might also want to add some elements to break up the content area some. Whether that be containers or something other element that breaks up the space and the content on the page a little more clearly.

I like the blog, it's simple and easy to navigate. The only critic from me is the white titles, I don't think it's the right color for them

Home page looks great but the sub pages has little bit of misalignment of 'IQ.." related banner in FF. Rest of the layout seems good.
