I just checked my EEE PC 1000h with Linux Xandros and it's working fine. Well actually the same thing is happening, where the time and date is spread onto two lines, so it streches down. Is that the error you're getting?

Yeah, that is what I see.

It's beginning to bug me. Hopefully I'll sort it soon. What Linux are you running by the way? Ubuntu?

I'm getting a gap on the home page in firefox, which breaks the header in two with a wedge of black.

Yeah, I'm getting that too, where the search bar is. Wasn't there before ...

I believe the error is because of the date and time. It must be stretching too much on your page causing the break in the page.

It's still working fine for me although I'm going to try and fix it.

It's working for me in IE6 now too (using it at school :/). I believe it changes because of how long the date is. Say for example, it stretches the page and creates a gap because the day or month has an extra letter in than the previous one. I'll have to make the gap slightly bigger or make the text smaller. I don't have time with school right now but I will sort it out soon. Thanks for the comments and reviews guys.

Anything else?

Ah, yes, that sounds right :)

There's not much I can add onto what I and other people've already said. If you do change the design a little bit and want it re-reviewed post here again :D

The blue is too much.. I agree. Also, your site to me really doesn't tell the user what you are trying to do. Your description about your company is kind of confusing. Maybe I am confused :(
Also, if you are trying to optimize with google, your site probably won't rank the way it is now.
It is easy to navigate which is a plus!!

Hi all,

I've just re-designed my website which is for my movie-making company De La Mare Productions. I did the design mostly in PhotoShop and then adding in some features and text in Frontpage (also Expression Web and Dreamweaver). I also edited some of the code using notepad but I do find it easier to have a design view of it when it's a big site full of pictures like this.

Anyway, please let me know what you think. It's finally multi-browser compatible, as the last few ones before that only worked in IE as I used layers and stuff.

Thanks,
Jack

Ok, sorry for the late reply, but I (finally) just got the date and time error fixed. I got rid of the time as it was wrong for most places in the world so it made sense to just have the date showing. I think it looks better now too.

I'm also making the search bar a little smaller so it doesn't crowd that section, if you get me.

You guys should check out my film too, there's a scene on YouTube.

Thank you for the tips and pointers also. Helped me a lot and I know what to change for the next update :).
