SITE REVIEW: Music Video Site

Hello fellow webmasters

I´m working on a project in Denmark, though i still need your help.

The concept is to only show music videos, not like youtube where there are dosens of people trying to remake the video, by singing em self. Or something like that.

Its may also be one of the first sites in Denmark.

You can still make a nice review of the colors, functionallity and all that!''

So please, give me some feedback.

Well, first off you have some errors in your code which can be seen here

Your color scheme is okay. I like the green which goes well with the white you have chosen. However, you introduced a red element in your header image but neglect to use it anywhere else on the site. I think you should either use the red a little more or not at all.

Also, with your header image the 'beta' tag seems a little blurry to me. I'm not sure if it was done in photoshop or not, but it doesn't seem as sharp or new looking if you were going for that web 2.0 look.

Just my 2 cents.

I think you have a nice concept and it's well structured, but you could change a few things.

As merlyn said, I like the colour sceme and the concept ... I find that the whole header is too low quality ... you can see the typical jpeg compression around the text ...

The grey in the background and the search boxes are perhaps a bit too dark ..

Also, i reccomend some padding in the 'Top Videoer' box ...

Breeze: I´v just added some padding, a good idea. Though i dont know if its enough?

I found out, that the header actually was streched out. That is now fixed, and its 50kb now instead of 15kb

Merlyn: My first idea with the design, was to also use the red. But then i suddenly came of the idea. Maybe you got an idea to get the red, integrated in the design?

Well good job on fixing your header image. It looks better now.

As for the red, I don't know if I noticed this before, but it seems your a:hover text is red, so when you hover over a link, it appears in red. That's pretty nice.

The whole site seems sharper now. Good job.

I like it, it's simple and clean. The colors really give it a nice hip feel.
