This website was a project of mine to relearn my past webdesign skills and to learn css. I kept it simple and designed it to flow with the forum style I used (typical subsilver from phpbb).

I like the colours but it's a bit empty...

You should move the links at the top up a bit, so they're off the line. Also make them a bit bigger.

If I were to do a website like that I'd use a blog instead of forums... but that doesn't mean you can't use forums or it's wrong to use them. It's just a matter of personal taste.

You definately need more content

But it's good for someone who has only done this to relearn some old skills.

If you want to create a 3-column website whilst teaching yourself CSS start with a piefecta template.
