great layout... i do have some suggestions however..

- dont start the music automatically... usually when people are surfing they have something playing in the background... it's obvious that they will play the sample to check it out

- again dont automatically fade the images, have a play button or do it everthing someone clicks on the movie

and yeah i dont mind popups as long as you notify me that it's going to popup!

great grunge effect and overall 4/5 :D

cheers!!!!!!!

Thanks for all the feedback everyone.

Originally I didn't have the white at the bottom but it looked way to dark a blah. I like the white so I guess I'll leave.

Also, the site is brand new and will be having a good overhaul within the next week.

Check back for new content, photos, downloadable mp3's and your chance to win an Electrashine Prize Pack or a kick arse electric guitar!

btw that photo gallery effect is pretty simple. There's an .fla over at http://www.kirupa.com http://www.kirupaforum.com/forums/showt ... to+gallery

Cheers! :)

DEFINITELY, DEFINITELY, DEFINITELY don't have the music play automatically. I just loaded your page in a computer lab which is converted from a large cathedral-esque chapel, meaning that: (a) talking or any noise whatsoever is taboo, (b) any loud noise draws the ire of everybody, and (c) the sound echos across the entire building. All of the sudden, laptop speakers blasted out this noise at maximum volume. (It is "noise" when played by lousy laptop speakers.)

I am now getting dirty looks.

LOL @ Sam Hughes

I love the design. I think it looks great. My computer has no sound so I didn't have the same problem as Sam, however...

I think there are certainly too many pop-ups and too little content.

And I can't express how much I love the design. It looks great. More pictures and you'll be good to go.

Now that I've expressed how much I like the design, don't take this the wrong way. I love the design, but hate the code.

Meh.. 'tis fine. :D

The site was thrown together pretty quick and sliced pretty sloppy but it serves its purpose. Anyways, that bit of code there is probably only 300bytes.

Hey thanks for being cool and open source minded with that border technique!

I had already found the same thread that you referred us to on kairupa.com before you posted your answer here, however most likely someone else will come along and want to know also. All is well, thanks again!

Well if you're anal about having perfect code this tool isn't for you but if you use dreamweaver and want to loose the baggage give it a shot.

http://www.webmaster-toolkit.com/dreamw ... aner.shtml

Don't expect too much though 'cause it usually only cuts like 1 kb or less.
