Hello all.

I figured I'd start out posting here by getting some critiques on a site I'm working on.

Check it out. http://www.electrashine.com

Any tips or comments would be much appreciated.

Cheers :D

very professional looking site for a band. i like all of it except the white at the bottom, i think it should also be a darker color, like the rest of the background.

I too like the site, but I am gonna do my best to help you out.

First off, try to add more pics to the photos section, and like AHaz said, ditch the whole new window thing, and maybe use an iframe to load the content. (I get why you do it.....to keep the music on.)

Second, add a few more pages, like lyrics and such.

Otherwise, the only other thing I see it the fact that the guestbook updates immediately without you revising the content to make sure it isn't spam.

Thanks for the feedback everyone.

I know about the pop up problem. Is it really that annoying?

The site was thrown together within a couple of days and little thought went into navigation because originally they just wanted a nice homepage and some photos. Well now that we're going to add a lot more content the structure is going to have to be reworked.

Also, the music will be available through the site as soon as the CD gets published. We haven't cracked into the Best Buy market just yet but I am optimistic that this will change in the near future.

Thanks again for the comments

I like it, it's very impressive (and the music is quite good as well... go Canada!)

I'm not a big fan of the white at the bottom, and there doesn't seem to be a ton of content... but the site design itself is awesome.

I like the site alot, and feel the opposite as one of the other posters, I like the white on the bottom of the page, nice contrast. The music is good, and sounds like good quality on my speakers, not over compressed for web use..

I like in the photos section, the little simple effect of the border that tweens shape to whatever image you were on last. You wouldn't feel like sharing some of that actionscript would you?? :D Seriously, would you?

Nice job though, real professional looking, and audio enabled which alot of people are wanting.

If you could provide a link to a tutorial for that effect or anything else that is helpful I would appreciate it. You could PM me the info if you want, thanks.

awesome layout. Love the grunge work and the flash pics. Nice touch. I'm working on a site like yours. I'll post my layout when it's done slicing and so. I'll like to have your take on it.

Your site is nice tho. 8/10
