Please have a look around. The site is a working progress. I would like some feedback on the layout colours, before I start adding downloads, products etc.

Hi,

Load time was fine which is always good to start.

I liked the less conventional right hand menu (although it may not always be favourable as people in general get used to left naviation).

I clicked the links and that was when I felt the navigation on the right interfers with scrolling - I kept wanting to click another link instead of scrolling down the portfolio ( I guess I am used to looking at the left for the areas and exploring at the right)

I liked the way the portfolio was displayed nonetheless.

The biggest thing I felt was when I scrolled down on the homepage... I felt any information that you were wanting to say should be clicked on to find out.

I would have finished the front page at this point:

I felt there was no need for any further information on the intro page. (Sorry only quick overview since I find myself looking at too many websites and not getting stuff done myself - and boy, I need to learn a lot) :P

Thanks for the input, I know what you meen about to much info on the homepage. Trouble is the top presentation is all flash so i't no use to the robots for rankings,

I hear what your saying about the right hand navs. Mabe i'll move things around a little.

I would change the logo idea.

It's to strong, I would say. I would choose some softer and simple logo.

Why do you think it is to strong. I want to enforce the brand and the company name.

Do you think beer is to strong?

I think you have a too much image, I would put that sucker back in photo shop and remove the text in the middle. Then make the background where the text was a background on the page and use normal text. Also I think it's a little over the top, maybe tone the size down or the drastic black lines.

Ok point taken about the strong black lines. Mabe it is a little over the top.

I have to stay with this logo. cos it's on alot of print promos etc.

I might try and tone it down a bit as this seems to be the most critisized thing so far.

Or mabe I'll just start over. What do you think.

What do you mean strange. Do you mean the right side position of the main navs. Discussed earlier, or something else.

Can you try to be more helpfull with your criticism. Please.

It's strange doesn't really help (sorry)

IMHO, the text below is just not very helpful: one, because it's hard to read also it does not align with your flash image or the flash image is not centered. either way, it does not look well packaged. I would consider incorporating the text below inside the flash layout. perhaps in 2 columns and changing the font color as well. Remember that a user makes his/her mind about staying at a webpage in the first 5 secs. if they don't like it, they are gone.

As some mentioned before, try softening the graphics, a bit in the strong side.

Good luck,

Javier

Thanks for the input.

I am going to scrap the flash on the homepage and tone the graphics down too.

Thanks for the advice. Everyone is saying the same thing so I am going to change things.

You can't please all the people all the time. You can only please some of the people some of the time.

I'll post the updated site ASAP.

Thanks!

I have looked at the layout and presentation and colors. My first impression is that your site does not look clean. Simple and clean graphics attracts the user more rather than heavy stuff.
