Hi all

well, I have recently re-designed my site.
It will be used to sell logo's!
http://www.inucleo.co.uk

(please do not comment on spelling, only a draft version online)

hope you like it, tell me what I can improve on!

/* you may say that you prefered the last site (darker - V4) but i think this one is a little more professional.
and it loads a hell of a lot faster

I think that it is a bit to white? there seems to be to much white space everywhere. But maybe that was what you was trying to acheive.

I looked at your portfolio and when click on the alaron link, the pictures aint showing up. and i noticed that if i click refresh then it takes me back to the splash page.

I love your wall papers! :D

the pictures seem to show up ok for me...
and the http://www.inucleo.co.uk is only redirecting to http://www.inucleo.ashst.com
(my subdomain :'( )
this will be fixed soon

I was aiming for a lot of white, might seem too much, but i think it works well

thanks tone

still not showing up for me in IE or firefox, try pressing ctrl + f4 to clear your catch.

I think that it is better then the other version in the respect that it is more professional (as you said)

can anyone else confirm the pics are not loading?

aha!
lol
i know why
for some reason, the links to the images were linking to the images on my computer, and even when they were uploaded, the site was still using the images from my desktop
ok, try again
it should be fine now, i altered the links

Well I was thinking of making an enquiry about a logo, but I really can't afford you.....

I think the white looks nice and definately looks more professional - it will get more sales from businesses (yes I do believe last week I was saying dark would be better for you ).

The only two things I could say are that there is a funny blue stretched image near the top of every page (in firefox), and that you should split your work up into sections based on the style, with a thumbnail from each section.

To most client bryce 5 means nothing. Always refrain from using anything technical if your customers are non-technical.

Well done, I agree with atno(was it him) saying you are one of the hardest working guys here.

as I said, everything is still in draft, wording, pricing (still need to see what people charge, until i get the form up)

good point about the wording...
i really should sort that out

i use firefox...
and i dont see it.

I will split the portfolio up with thumbnails, thanks for the tip ;)

yup stretchy blue thing:

http://us.share.geocities.com/whataload ... titled.bmp

Sorry about the filesize (I'm on my girlfriends computer and I don't know how to make anything but bmps with paint lol) and you will have to copy and paste the link

The prices are probably right (if not a bit low) for what you produce, I just can't justify the cost for what I want... Looks like I'll be finding me some free 3d gaphics software lol :)

Hey Nucleo

The site looks great & the designs are incredible.

My only suggestion is that it seems to me you could show off more of your flexibility and variety in your portfolio. Though it'll be completely obvious to most people that you could handle any type of designs, I reckon you should prove to even the dumbest people that you can do stuff that isn't super-professional shiny geometrics. Basically I think you could put more of your work in your portfolio. It's bound to look great based on what you've got there now.
Cheers

Chris

Oh hoh! Yes I never got round to installing the firefox flash plugin on my girlfriends computer. Got flash here - looks nice.

Your javascript error is a bit weird. It might be worth using the html code for opening a new window rather than the javascript.... I can never bloody remember the code for that. I don't know why sharkshark can't see it though - The javascript error shouldn't stop the normal link function (<a href="blah">) from working.

when i was making the site, I was playing with javascript to get a sort of popup window, for each link
I added the code, then thought it would be better a dif way
I forgot to remove the code lol
Well it is gone now :fadein:

I don't know if anyone has noticed but the two imagse either side of the title look worryingly like the Shadow vessels from bablyon5...

Are you in anyway aligned with the powers of darkness nucleo

//edit: for those of you wondering:
http://www.unet.univie.ac.at/~a9503672/ ... shadow.jpg

maybe not completely the same, but I see a similarity :)

When you first started talking about the new concept for your site look, I wasn't sure I was going to like it. But I do. Very sharp, clean professional look. Nice job.
