Hello,

I am trying to build a site for frustrated tech workers who have had their jobs or will have their jobs outsourced/offshored.

I was looking for a place to talk about this and couldnt find one, so figured i'd create my own.

http://www.OffShoringSucks.com

What features do you think I could add to the site to make it more useful?

I"m already working on a new look and feel.

Thank You!

Well, if you're after an educated discussion about the pro's and con's of outsourcing and how to compete in the global market I'd start by changing your domain name to something more apt, else continue along the lines you've started and try filling it with lots of zenophobic jokes ... your choice

Good luck.

Cheers, Prime ... :D

I would agree with prime ! The concept is good but a new more proffecional and attractive domain would really help

Hi,

Well, it could do with more design work and stuff. It looks like a straightforward implementation of vbulletin. I am sure you can do better than that. :)

Cheers,
Joshua

Gotta agree the sitename alone will get you banned at most companies.

However the overall site is not that bad, but you definitely need to tweak your v-bulletin install to look a little more inline with the feel of the site.

Gathering steam should not take long but you are going to have to be on top of things with potential spammers as many of the posts are going to attract other types of people.
