cheers guys... i've done a few minor tweeks to improve the look, i've uploaded a demo of what the large graphic/flash thing should look like so you can get an idea of how zoomify work...

http://www.adamjordan.info/demo/index.html

please note that graphic is not yet complete....

And i've also decdied to promote MS iE 6!!! reasons for this are because of the problems FireFox still has with basic features making a designers job a bitch! lol check the link on the left... should annoy a few firefox people... Sorry Y'all......

Don't fall in the trap ! IE is the bad one !
Firefox supports fully XHTML, CSS as IE doesn't ! IE makes me cry because of its random behaviors with W3C standards.

Yeah I know Zoomify but I don't understand why you're using it jordan. :?:
It's designed for images, not for .swfs.
If I try to understand...you want to make a big image which users will be able to zoom in so that you can display sections of your site, don't you ?
So your site will be based on the Zoomify navigation system, you're already loosing originality !

One more thing : adamjordan.info returns a 404. Is your site no more online ?

Server errors..... sorry! out of my control

The zoomify will be used to show a massive graphic... only on the main page! It is a design site so surely i should show a combination of all my designs????

i like IE, i understand your feelings. I would just rather they all put their heads together and produced one browser that does it all... because they are only doing themselves out of friends when someone installed their softwate and their site no longer works..

The firefox browser looks child like too i think!

Ok I see...actually you want to make a kind of gallery for your artworks, don't you ? Anyway you can't do either way.

Well, as for everything on the web, there won't be a unique solution-based browser, maybe that's better and it encurages new challenges...

To be honnest, I was rather suspicious about Firefox by the time I was on IE and I can say that currently, Firefox works well and is better than IE (just for example, the tabs are so useful). :)
Moreover, IE encounters many security issues. For example if you want to use Flash + HTTPS, IE bothers you !

As you can see, I'm completely converted to Firefox. :D

Well, good luck in your dev. I hope your server will soon be fixed.

It just bugs me so much that you design a site and have to test it in every browser and version and then you get some little fool that uses IE 1.0 and starts moaning....

BTW

http://www.adamjordan.info is working again now. Had a few server errors earlier... Done a few more updates too .... thanks.
