Wow your site it beautiful! I love the limited color pallet. I think the thing that might be catching people on the menu is that it is the only flat colors on the site. If it had some sort of gradation, and I honestly can't think of what would work best (horizontal, vertical, ?) it would be much more sophisticated like the rest of the site.

Your contact page must still have the old reversed design/onyx image on it?

I'm curious what everyone thinks about the onyx design flash on every page load? It seems like if it did it only once, the site would feel more anchored. (I'm absolutely new and here trying to learn, so don't give much weight to my comments).

Your site is GREAT for a person of any age and you truely have talent.

@ Westpoint,

Thanks for your reply :) I appreciate it. Doing the flash header just once is an option, but you get the problem that you don't know on which page the people will enter the site. If I show the flash header only on the homepage a lot of people won't see it....

And I agree the menu is not the best part of the site, but I'm still thinking how to improve it. ;)

Huh? I totally disagree with the statement.

But I did go to your site to see if you changed it a lot and noticed that if I go to the basic URL (http://www.onyx-design.net/) I don't get the animation. When I click on the 'home' link I do.

@ Westpoint, you're right, it;s fixed now ;)

Forgot to tell it, but I've created something new. It's called the onyx-design image viewer. Images are no longer loaded in the root but in a image viewer. See it for yourself (click on "see the picture"):

@murcielago: thx :) I preferred making a viewer myself instead of using a tool.

I made a sitemap: http://www.onyx-design.net/pagina/en/sitemap
It's not much of a use right now but if my site becomes bigger it might turn out convenient...
