hi
my site is only quite simple as i’ve only put together a couple before.
anyway, the idea is that the background etc doesn’t take the eye away from the portfolio pieces.
what do you think?
thanks,
tony

You have code showing on your website instead of just a blank black space.

Is there a reason for this?

Hi Tony. The code Nem put in his review is actually code displayed on your web page as we see it. It's a large black space right now but if you drag your mouse over that you will see your code on the top portion of your page. You may want to try hide that. It makes the site look empty until you (we) scroll down.

As for the rest of the site, I like the grey background - very nice. The roolover sounds are neat, although you may want to add a contact page on your site where visitors can fill in an online form and click to send it to you. Some people only have webmail (i.e. Hotmail, Yahoo! Mail) so your Contact button will not be of use to them. By the time they go to their Hotmail accounts, they may not even have your email address in their clipboard any more!

The .swf files are impressive. Top marks there. Overall very nice. Sort out the header part of the page (all that black space) and best of luck!

Hi! Other than the problem at the top of your page, I really liked it. It wasn't overdone like a lot of other sites I see. :D

arite i just tried it in IE and i see what they mean about the code. Place you mouse icon over the black space, and click and highlight the area. you will see some code. Other that this i still think you page is very good.

You really need to sort the code at that appears on the top. I cant see how you cant see it. Open IE and go to your page. Then you should see a bog space at the top of your page. Well highlight it as if you were going to copy it and then you will be able to see it.

Im not sure how good your site would be from a search engines point of view. That code at the top is not going to help being the same color as the background.

Good luck

Tone

I would kill the sounds and put a little more work into the composition of your site (not to mention the technical side of things). I LOVE your portfolio of work - put the same effort into your site.

I'm bookmarking you for some stuff in the future

first of all, what nem said. not good
second, the background image you're using is not a very godo quality. I suggest you work on that. and why can't I select the text?? I'm addicted to that  (serious :P )
I do however like the blopping sounds :) but it does need some work.

I think you can probably add a picture of yurself on the homepage. This would give your site more credability. Overall it is a good site.
