SITE REVIEW: Pagerank toplist

http://www.pageranktoplist.com is a toplist, ranked primarily by Google PR and then by number of hits in.
It's most imortant feature is that links in top are "direct" (clicks tracked with JS), so that PR is passed to participating sites. In a way it also behaves as classic link exchange and/or directory.

I'd like to hear your feedback:

1) How do you like site idea and implementation ?
2) Would you join such top ? If not, why ?
3) I recently added log for latest checked files. Do you think scrolling checked websites distract attention from toplist itself ?

The readout from your script isn't very clear, i nearly missed it. Maybe better highlighted in red(?)

Secondly, why not include the Alexa ranking? I have a similar script here - http://www.webconfection.com.

When talking about design, I'd like to see some space between the left vertical line and fist letters in a row.

Also, w3c validator says: "Sorry, I am unable to validate this document because on line 323, 363 it contained one or more bytes that I cannot interpret as utf-8 (in other words, the bytes found are not valid values in the specified Character Encoding). Please check both the content of the file and the character encoding indication."

I like the idea of the site; having seen a topsite list setup like that before. I wouldn't add my site simply because I don't like adding backlinks/external buttons to my sites.

The implementation of the script is overall ok, however the scrolling marquee does distract viewers from the listings (imho) and I think the links at the top could beorganized a bit better (looks just like plain text-- maybe make the links a different color than the dividers).

Hmmm... i like your site. But it still need a lot of improvement.

1. The lists of urls (At the header) showing would be much more user clickable if description is shown. Only url are not meaningful.

2. The search page rank not working.

I too found the search page rank not working. And is that scrolling marquee really necessary?

Looks Ok overall . Check page rank works . But the numbers on the
page rank bar are smudgy.

Normally you wouldn't center the text, this would normally be left aligned.

After last toolbar PR recalculation, main page received PR5 and all subcategories got PR4.
Toplist is #1 for "pagerank top" in Google, Alexa is 179,000.
Don't forget that links are "direct" and add your sites

Interestingly I have taken the polar opposite approach with my site.
Pagerank, size, advertising budget makes no difference, it’s votes that count.

I’ve put your website on mine and voted for it.. I tried to add mine to yours but as yours is in the “New Releases” chart it will only let me put that page on your site. So when your’s enters the charts proper I don’t know what will happen.

You don’t have to reciprocte on my site, you can if you want, to get people to vote it gives you the code.
