This is the first site I've opted to host myself.

It's a photoblog-type-thing for the town I'm living in at the moment. I intend to use it as a prototype for a larger (multi-user) project I'm planning for when I get back to Manchester.

Hence, the title including the word "Winter", once the summer comes around I'll be leaving 'boro, so I want this site to be self contained, like a snapshot of the time I spent in here.

I appreciate that a site of this format is difficult to assess without more content as it's supposed to scale, I'll try to get more content on here soon. For now:

"because this is where I am…" only shows half on my screen...Nice pictures, but not much on your blog yet.
I was wondering can you make images 1024x768 so we can get them as a desktop background?
That would be nice.
Also, Can you put tips on how to edit pictures like the way you did? I have adobe photoshop cs2 but i dont realy know how to use it.

do you mean when you click on the image? The full versions are at 2848px, should this be changed to 1600, or even 1024?

That is a good idea, thanks for your comments.

Annoyed that I didn't do more testing for the header!
