SITE REVIEW: PickBabyNames.com

I started building http://pickbabynames.com 5 months ago. I've been adding features to the website, such as : my favorites and baby photo gallery.

Please give me suggestions and critiques that you think would make the site better (the design, the navigation, and new features should be on the websites)

I really like the site and found it quite useful since I'm expecting our second baby and we still haven't decided on a name. The inteface is uncluttered, and easy on the eyes... I especially like the photo gallery although I can't seem to add another category...

It's nice enough although I did find it annoying to keep on having to scroll down the way down and then having to scroll all the way back up because there was no back to the top button - maybe you could split it up a bit? I do like the add your favourite & and celebrity names - I didn't know about Kevin Smith having a baby

I thought the colors of the site went well with the baby theme. I would suggest putting a link back to the main page from the photo gallery, also add some pictures.

Maybe change the font?

thank you for your suggestion, i will put "back to the top button" for longer webpages.

change the font type or the font color ?
if you click on the logo, it will bring you back to the main page. Since it's difficult to see, i will add a text.

Many may disagree, it's not "web-standards" but I still think it helps sometimes if done discreetly!

add a background to the body, however MAKE SURE IT IS VERY SUBTLE
