I've set myself up a blog at the url http://www.pointless-existence.com

Tell me what you think of it so far, I have sorted it out pretty much, except for a few things on the comment pages, which still need doing.

Also, the top buttons aren't yet active, due to me needing to finalise the template before activating them.

Anyway, opinions.....

Pretty good. The site would be alot better if you fix the links and make a better banner. Just a sugestion a flash banner would be great!

A flash banner would suck and its existence would be pointless. (Oh god, my brain has just been seeded to use those words!)

Your site is one of the best designs I have seen ever (if not the best), except for one important thing: In IE, I cannot resize your font, because you set it using px or pt as the units in CSS. Use relative sizes, such as 100% or 90%. This way, people unfortunate enough to be using IE can have their browser settings work as expected, so that they can actually read what you have written.

This will pose no problems, as your layout is unaffected when I resize the font in Mozilla.

Disregard Phoenix's comments that are just
about... pointless. You have an absolutely
*stunning* site design. Clean, crisp and...
surprisingly to the point.

Kudos!

Well, thanks guys. I had the pixel sizes in for dev, and you're right that they should be changed to percentages, so I'll get doing that now.

Thanks for the opinions

I'd pretty much echo what Sam and implix have said. Seems a bit pointless then I hear you say, but I have to give props where props are due! Great work.

I like your site it's soo eye pleasing and the logo is grand :) Good job man!

One small comment though, I tested it on both IE & FF and in FF on the subpages the footer appeared on top of the content.
