Very nice. Clean and professional, not too cluttered. Congrats, I think this may be the first design I've seen here that I haven't had some issue with.

I appreciate those comments..this one took a lot of planning and thought...especially the tableless layout and all the validation..

Any comments on the code and accessibility as well would be much appreciated....cheers

BTW I have added a new section called Web Design Basics.. comments on the content would be great here....

Clean, simple and overall aethestically pleasing to the eye...very nice (I especially the like the color theme and the smart choice of fonts...nice!).

I really can't see anything to critisize about this site. Very nice to look at. You know exactly where to look when you see the page - no colums of text about different things. I like the graphic too.

It is clean, but lacks any contrast between elements.

hi jlknauff

Do you suggest maybe a <hr /> between the page headings?

cheers

I agree that the page design is above average.

But even a good site can be made better, so here are some suggestions:

1.) I tried to validate one random page with validator.w3.org/check and it showed 15 errors. If I were a potential customer of your webdesign company (which claims to obey "...web accessiblity and web design standards...") you would have lost me forever.

2.) When viewed with firefox the menubar jitters vertically upon clicking a button. This makes a somewhat careless impression.

3.) These ">" Icons left to each menu item look somewhat old-fashioned. I would try to come up with a more appealing solution, but this is only my subjective and personal opinion.

To sum it up, your site is good, it just needs that little extra to make it really stand out!

Thanks a million for that

The menu problem was a padding issue in my style sheet...

For the bullets I just turned the boxes around from my logo.....I thought this might incorporate it a little into the site.

The validation I just realised I did a change to that page an uploaded an older file....then obviously forgot to validate it....ooopps

We will get there eventually I guess hey?

thanks for those comments they have helped out heaps

cheers

Hey, this looks much more professional now!!

Cautiously animating the bullets is also a useability improvement.

Good look with your site!

Hi Martin..thanks again..

the bullets are a background image for the nav list done with css...its just a hover thing...there are no animated gifs or anything...

I hope this makes it better
