give it a while to load cuz i didn't optimize or anything. When it loads i'm sure you'll see the prob. If anyone willing and wants to help me out..just post and let me know what to do cuz i'm stuck.

later on u'll tell me what u think of the layour or now if u like. My prob right now are those white lines and stuff.

It's clear you used a transparent background when you created your images/slices..

I would suggest approching it this way.

Make the background a layer in your graphic.

Slice it with the background image.

Then export your images with the new slices.

Optimize then you shouldn't have any problems. Also cut your images smaller sizes.

Hi,

Well people here helped you but I'd like to criticize your design if you don't mind. :)

First of all it seems pretty interesting and well done but the 3D background looks too much like a poor 3D scene with flat clouds, flat ground.

The branches of the tree looks good but I suddenly see a thing that breaks all the good things I've seen : an ugly bevel on the guy singing !!

The font in the menu isn't easy to read but it's ok.

I hope I'll see the result in a website soon. :)

lol...a beveled guy...lol
so sorry u saw that...it's not gonna be in the site. as a matter of fact i'm doin the header over.

umm...i'd like to think of the background as 2D...it was meant to cast an effect not steal the show from the site.

You willl see the results of the site as long u keep checking my posts in here and thank u for the critcism...does more good than u know.

Too many graphics; it's just annoying unnecessary.

I'll second that. The images make it look nice, just a little overkill perhaps.

I'll repeat what everyone else has mentioned about the graphics. They are extremely heavy even on a T1 connection

Your site isn't scalable. Which means viewers on lower resolutions won't get the full effect.

Your background images aren't tiling. Which can be a good & bad thing. In your case BAD, I get TONS of white space on the right side (assuming it's because you set your body bgcolor to white). I'm running at 1600 * 1200 reso on a 24 inch screen.

Don't forget to add alt tags to all your graphics.

The font is a bit hard to read on the navbar.

Missing meta data.

I'm sure you can come up with a better site title than "rockingy2_sliced" ;)

I think your site has total potential. Great looking site, just needs to work out a few small points and you should be on your way :)

hmmm....interesting...I can work on those points 613flavah made but too much gfx would mean a do over. So what should i do?

I would take out the BG and make it a solid color or a tiling pattern. I think the BG takes away from the site anywho.

Otherwise nice job. I would do a rollover on the menu links too.
