Wow, it looks like a bag of skittles exploded! I would work on getting some sort of uniform feel throughout the site rather than different colors in every spot.

I would try to make the website layouts more consistent. Some pages contain the webserver statistics, others don´t , which also causes the newsflash box to unnecessarily change its position. A newsbox should get the most prominent position available anyway, wheras web statistics is not that important for most of your visitors.

Use of multiple website colors is not bad in principle, but it is important where and how you apply color to navigation elements. The saturated blue menu bar ontop of the pictures distracts attention from the pictures below, making them look less crisp. Change the menubar color to a light grey and see what happens to the pictures!

I think Blue and orange is a quite problematic combination. What about trying green and orange?

Your logo is quite good, but should have some more contrast. Also, attach a link to the entry page to it because people exect a "homepage" function when clicking on the website logo.

I think the idea of using a variety of colors is a good one and is used correctly. It catches the eye of the viewer, and makes them want to look into it. I also like the format of the site.

To start with the problems on this site, the homepage features some yellow title bars, and it can cause trouble for someone to see the title inside them (the same might apply to the orange bars as well for certain ppl). Also, the website satistics does need to be shown consistently if it's gonna be shown on half the pages, and always keep the news flash box on top of it. The grey typing within the pages usually is greatly overshadowed and hardly noticed.

My Bottomline: The site has medium potential, cause some of those problems are gonna be hard to overcome considering the variety color scheme idea, but if dedicated keep at it and prove other wise.

Yes, im not in a hurry.. (ofcourse i would se thousands of new members tomorrow..but..)
I know, specialy those kind of sites have to have time before there will be a good run on it.
But i have set me a timelilne. Its 1-2 years, and then im hopeful getting more run, members and a good page rank on google.

specially now im not living in the states were mouth to mouth would be a boost in the right way.
Just have to take the hard way and wait wait waaait..lol.

But im using Google Adwords right now, and hope that will speed this allittle up.

What are your site?

best regards

The colors are fine, they work with the photos because it's as explosion of fun color. There's a fine line between festive and tacky, and you're close, but I think it has a "Spring Break" air to it. My suggestion as far a color goes, would be to not have the background be white. The fact that it's white now allows for you to have this mix of colors without a clash, so if you do go with a background color it would limit your overall pallet into things that fit with the background.
What I like about the colors is that each color is for a different piece of info, so if you lose colors, more lables will be like each other.

I actually like the white background, I think it gives a very clean appeal to the site. The only thing that jumps off the page at me is the google ads on the right site do not match the rest of the site. If you can find a way to integrate those in a little better so as to not be a distraction I think you'll be golden color scheme wise.

I have to echo the comment about the web site statistics... make them stay on all pages... or remove them from all pages. If you choose to keep them then you need to make them appear down at the bottom as they are less relevant than the other items in that column.

Your site is one of the few instances where I would recommend keeping the background white. It makes the site seem safer and more... flirtatious, which is the impression you want given the domain name.
