I really don't like the logo at the top and you have a few errors with the positions of some of the boxes.

Its really really table heavy, i'm not over struck on that.

I would call it functional... i think the design needs a lot of work if you were going to try to make it a bit more visually appealling.

Its not bad for 36 hours though.

The current logo is just a place holder, I'm currently working on a new logo as well as changing up the tables a bit more.

forget the cleaning dude, just get rid of the tables. divs, lists and css ;)

cool little site though, design is pretty dated, though i guess it is kind of suited to your content.

i would definitely add a current state to your top menu (meaning make the link to the page you're currently viewing stand out from the rest of the items in your navigation)

:)

I think you should have worked on the main layout and site structure before you started adding all that content, which by the way you got the permission for from all the original authors right?

Like tylerdurden mention you should certainly use divs and css over tables. Tables were never even designed to be used to produce layouts. Your current code is an absolute mess, with 258 validation errors. Fair enough, it only took you 36 hours but if the result of 36 hours of rushed work is a jumbled up mess whats the point in going so fast? Take your time or your just going to keep and producing crap.

The concept is OK, but I think you have to work harder on the layout. I don't know why, but it immediately reminded me the arcade video games of the 80's (Space Invaders, Galaga,...). Take a look to this Space Invaders pic http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Space_Invaders

Perhaps the plain black background and that green text combination, plus the white tables.

I'm a full-time bartender/waiter and don't have much time to be doing web design. The outcome of a 2 day vacation during Labor Day weekend was this website.

If you look at each game topic, I'd like to see the second line in the title shifted over to match the first line, just to even it out

ALRIGHT

No, those aren't games created by me. They're games I was given permission by most of the creators to put on my site, for those who I haven't gotten permission from; I couldn't get in contact with. If they have any problem with it i'll remove their games from my site if they contact me.

Yes, it took me about 36 hours to finish this website, the info wasn't hard to obtain considering I once had a gaming site in the past and I had still saved most of the site on DVD-R.

I am currently working on a new layout; the logo, images, and current layout you see is just a place-holder until I finish the real layout. I'll keep you posted on my progress but it should be complete sometime this week.

Tumbs up!

This site took me almost 20 years back. I immediatly started playing and forgot why I entered the site in the first place.

Very simple design, I could find what I wanted in no time. The gamez are great.

For 36 hours its very good, though you have to do something with the main logo, and the site does have a feeling of the 80's. If that was your intention you succeeded. Otherwise try to update it a little.

Bottom line - who cares about the design. great gamez and site.

Alright,

I have a good portion of the new layout up currently, although I'm not sure if i'll be keeping it. For those of you who saw the old layout; how do you like the new one?

36 hours huh? Kudos. Time spent up front pays dividends down the road.

First off, logo. Oi! Good thing it's a place holder.

Things look pretty good here. The look of the site, color, fonts, etc. look good. The rollovers on the main nav could be bold instead of going from bold to normal-faced.

The high-scores down the left hand side get a bit whacky when they are rolled over.

Looks like your site has potential with only a few tweaks.

Yeah, I noticed those myself and am still working on it although I don't have much time. I agree it has potential with a few tweaks, that's why I'm here :D

Functional, but I'd go with CSS instead of using so many tables.

You might want to put a small description or the title of the games under "Most Popular" and "Newest Games", so that people know can get a better idea of what is available.

The site looks pretty good.

I think you are loosing a lot of space since most of the middle sit column is empty.

Make you wounder if the site is really up to date.

Hey its an alright site cough* competing against me lol http://www.boogames.ca but i like the red but i would fix up ur header... the flash marquee banner is really anyonign and does not go well as well did u make this site form scratch or get a website builder because i noticed a Copyright ©2006-2007 MitoWEB.com. All Rights Reserved unless thats ur website as well? But on another note there still alot of cleaning up to do... 36 hours is more then enough time to get a good layout its the content that take a while
