Hi guys

a client wanted a personalized t-shirt site on the cheap, and most of it's done now, save for the ordering system - would really appreciate some comments & suggestions on the design? thanks :)

Positive:
* Good use of fonts that complement the product designs
* The products them selves are shown nice and clear.

Negative/things to do:
@ No way back to homepage! (Make header clickable to home)
@ You could lose the frame or at least loose the horizontal scrolling in it.
@ Add you navigation links at the footer of the homepage to make sure they get indexed by search engines.
@ Verdana small is fine but change the large font into Arial Black, Arial

cheers johan

there should now be a 'home' button on the banner for every page - will make sure that's working a-ok before the site goes live.

There's not supposed to be a hroizontal scrollbar on the frame - I don't know why that's coming up, as it hasn't on my comp at any res, so I shall have to investigate!

will add bottom links and investigate fontage too!

thanks :)

Nice design. I got a lot of 404 errors, the images on the front page dont have a larger view. when i clicked the differnet product links i didnt see any images. I suppose you are still updating. the links looked fuzzy, you may want to sharpen those up a bit. For a chep website its pretty good, just needs some work.

Nice color scheme. I think you should change the scroll bar color to red border & arrow and black for the rest.

For the link buttons, there's a blue border around it you should remove it (border="0") because it doesn't really go w/ the color scheme

I like it so far. Top header takes too long to download though, and I'm on a cable connection. In the textarea, I can't read the text because it's the same color as the background (black). Either it's like that for everyone, or it doesn't work cross-browser (I'm on Netscape). Good job so far, though.

The colours are looking real good! however the font you chose for 'the best personalised gear on the net' is a bit hard to read, maybe if you just changed it. - akso on the bit where you have the thumbnails of the shirts, and their details next to them in charcoal, on black, is way hard to read. i Know i couldnt be bothered straining to read that. Also wondering about the blue outline for the different shirts links, that has kind of left the colour scheme. Finally the box with your enquires number in it is too large. little things like that just annoy me. yea but it is still looking good, just needs some fine tuning. Yeh but i do disagree with Christine about the banner - i think it looks very awesome.

Cheers guys
Some v valid points there - will def lower quality of banner a touch for faster loading, and lose the borders on the links. actually there's a few colour issues I need to address.
Thanks for those points

Im loving that site, the idea, the colours and the design! I would be tempted to buy from you if I came across a site like that on the net, is there any chance you could PM me a price list for some of you products etc.. im looking for a cost effective way of promoting my own site and im liking the look of a set of t-shirts.
