The copy has always been an issue. I am hoping that the client defines their message a little better after launch.

This is rather fascinating to me. The message is "hidden" away on the about Tofa story page. I think the story about bumping into the man would help people understand the site a little better.

I know that this is for a client and it would be rather difficult for them to change but getting some of the things on the page I just mentioned onto the page that people get the first impression of the Website would be a really good idea.

Even though the idea of the Website does not really appeal to me very much I think it would appeal to a lot of people.

I also realize this is not "live" yet but I also think as stories start to come in the "best" or most inspirational story should be incorporated into the "front" page somehow.

As has been mentioned before parts of the site are very hard to read. When I read the post about What's in your pocket and saw the white or cream color on the brown background that color made it much easier to read that part of the post compared to the rest of the post.

Maybe you could just have the two colors of black and then the cream color as an example and the client will hopefully see which one of the two is much easier to read.
