Looking for feedback or tips on a new site that raises money for charity. One specific question I have is do the entire site, including ads fit on your screen?

http://www.triviaforcharity.com

Thanks!

Nice site and yes the entire site fit on my screen perfectly including the ads ... One thing i don't like is colours you selected for your website or they are not a good contrast as well .. Else everything is fine and best of luck for it

I agree with TextLinks... O<m not a very big of the colors.

The colors and the lettering make it look like a website for a mexican restaurant.

For the rest it's pretty nice...

The questions are easy to read and it's pretty fun to play

Unfortunately, I have to agree with everyone else here, in saying that the choice of colours are not the best.

Also, the different sizes of the text makes it a bit more confusing and squashy. It's better to restrict the 2 sizes of text throughout. It's all about aesthetics I guess.

On the plus side, the pictures are very nice.

I hope this helps. Good luck!

Great feedback, I appreciate it. I will look closely into changing the colors and simplifying the fonts.

Anyone else have any thoughts?

Thanks,

Daniel

The site loads quickly, there is also a good contrast of colors. think its a good job, on a more close view the use of different font types and sizes makes it a bit difficult to read. I think you might need more details on what exactly you site is about, and how you protect visitors privacy.

Hello,

The idea is excellent and the way the trivia questions work is really nice but the design could use some work. I agree the current color set and the header logo font reminds me of a Mexican restaurant.

Small Grammar error in your FAQ on the word hundred:

"Can one person really make a difference?

Although the donation for each question may be small, millions of people answering hundred of questions can add up. ".

I would add some more information on who exactly you donate to.

Needs a little work design and description wise, but excellent concept.

I agree it lacks a good design touch. Also the real estate is not very well utilized - the navigation on the left is squeezed, one word per line only, and at the same time you are leaving empty space on left/right of the design. Might have made it a bit wider to allow for a good navigation.

I think the tagline inside your logo should have a better emphasis.

You'd better show your donations as of the current date, not 10 days ago..your visitors would not be interested if the information is not current.

On the FAQ page you may have all links at the top, and then the answers may follow below, would be easier for people to find the question they are looking for.

Otherwise - very good and interesting cause!
