This is a site I've not been working on for too long yet (about 5 days so far), but wanted to get some opinions and suggestions on how things are progressing so far.

There are many modifications still yet to be implemented on the site (SE-Friendly URLs, a replacement for the default "News" module on the homepage, and I need to SERIOUSLY tweak the forum layout, and other things)...

But what do you all think so far to the general layout, colour scheme, etc.?

I liked it. Loaded quickly, colors are nice, clean and tidy layout. at the moment 7.5 on a 1-10 scale.

Absolutely fantastic. Everywhere from the colors and backround pics above each section. The one photo may not completely match but it kind of makes it stick out a little more, and since its an awesome graphic it works well. I've never played any of those games but I bet thats by far one of the best fan sites for it or will be when finished.

My only real question is the non-bolded links have no hover. Oversight?

Yep -- I could have really used that feature back when I was married! *lol

Very nice, loads quickly and I like everything apart from the gradient used for the background of the news title. I don't know why, it just looks, too simple?

Regards,
Mark

Yup, I'm not 100% happy with the gradient either... But it's better than the plain boring single monotone background that was originally there, lol.

It's still got a lot of work to be done on it.. The theme needs a fair amount of tweaking, I need to hack a few modules to display their output a little differently, and I need to write some new custom modules to add functionality for clans to challenge each other, game ladders n' stuff.

So, these features will be getting added over the coming weeks, and hopefully a good competition soon :)
