SITE REVIEW: VotedTop Website Charts Now pr4

I would appreciate your views on my new site it’s been going about a month and it’s doing okay but not as well as I hoped.

It’s instant login no annoying email verification so please feel free to have a vote or submit a favourite.

change the font... I almoust couldn`t read that text.
I also think you should use a darker green for link on hovers.

I like the colors of the site maybe the green is hard for eyes(try with orange).In the section New Release is ok that color.

Remove "VotedTop Website Charts- Where you decide what the best websites are, with one click instant voting – You have the Power to make this the best place to find the top web sites" and find a more appropreiate place for this text.

Replace with LARGE, BOLD, COLORED text "Click to Choose Your Favorite Site" or something to that effect.

Nice top site .. I noticed that you only had a description meta tag.. Don't forget your title and keywords.. Google and Yahoo love the title tag and the smaller like the keywords. Other than that.. The site is great

Before anything else..i just want to say that i like your website..i just signed up my website about 23 hours ago.


these are my comments:

- i think your logo at the top is nice but still i recommend you to replace t with a much better one.

- the contrast and brightness of the color green is not that good to the eyes and i thinks it is too much white that makes your website too bright.

- i agree with the above post..you should make this bold or something that will make it readable

Well here are some of my comments:

1) Nice concept and idea for starters, but competition is going to be very high due that http://www.digg.com is very hot at the moment. Dont let that worry you just continue on what you are doing and you can make it too.

2)You might want to consider changing the style etc because its really too similair to http://www.digg.com

3) Use more higher definition colors to make it more attractive.

4) Your "Hottest Tags" section looks like http://www.43things.com
Revise on changing that.

5) Work on a better or more professional looking banner or logo header to make it attractive yet simple in design.

I suggest you do abit of revamp on the site.
Also have a look at youre http://www.votedtop.com/robots.txt
you might want to remove that for security purposes.

Rather than that great work and best of luck!

+ goog site idea - but try to propose some exclusive options for user, web offers your options already
+ nice login box, try to make submit button CSS formatted - so It look same on different browsers

I like the logo. It goes along with the rest of the site nicely.

The overall layout is clean and easy to read. It's not very cluttered imo.

Your "votes" sqaures look good but its kind of lame that they are nearly identical to digg. You might want to come up with something more original.

I added my site. The whole process went pretty smooth.

I don’t want to mislead anyone but I figure its a way potentially to get a pr4 none reciprocal backink.

It’s fully interactive your site appears immediately, you don’t have to reciprocate But you might want to get your visitors to vote for you

If you click “Link to this” under your entry it will present you with the code (in a sexy ajax way) to link to your individual entry to get people to vote for you.

Help me get this web developer community going by checking your some of the sites and voting (joining is instant too - it doesn’t do annoying email validation )
