your "paw" logo at the top looks a bit squished, when compared to the paws in the footer area.

I'm not sure what level of compatibility you're shooting for, but Firefox 3.5 on 1600x1200 places the 'A+ A-' font size controls waaaay out in right field about 100 px away from the rest of the content.

I'd also work on reorganization. The contact us floating far left gives the appearance that it's an afterthought. I'd work any navigation into the design. Also consider rearranging so that ads are possibly outside of your main layout area and off to the right? You're losing a lot of real estate and my eye really can't focus on anything out-right.

The contact us can't be changed because at low resolution it simply jumps to the main area.
Ads are placed to earn some revenue, with more content, it will look good.

I like the logo and color scheme on the site. There seems to be some spacing issues that seem a little odd to me. Above all the content there seems to be a little too much white space. I also think it would be helpful to have the main nave bar be a little more prominent so it would be easier to see and it would separate the the header from the content more.

Also the spacing in the ads on the right seems a little inconsistent. Some are very uniformly spaced at about 10/15px but then others have a big 50px gap. Also the images are touching the top yellow box on the left.

I like the way you have done the containers on the lower right and the footer. They are really colorful and also subtle enough now to be distracting. Nice.
