Your text on the landing page is centered. Ditch the centeredness, make it aligned to the left... centered text, unless it's a poem, is nasty to read.

Place it in a div, or a nested table so it'll aling alright.

Also, your image line at the top, is sticking out a bit on the left side of the drop down of the line.(using MSIE)

Also, make your buttons coloured. <input type="button" style="background-color:red;colour:#EEEEEE;"> something like that anyways... the gray buttons mess up your style...

Also, ditch the hyperactive banner at the bottom... sites which display hyperactive banners dissapear with me always in the great void of never to explore again.

well, i'd suggest then, make your own banner of it.

Open your favorite image editing program.
Open up your site

Scroll down that the banner is fully visible.

Press the button called "Print Screen" on your keyboard

Go to your graphics editing program. Paste it as a new image.

Cut and paste the banner out. place the still copy on your website, replacing the flashy banner.

If you don't like the still, press Print Screen at a time you do like it.

It looks a lot nicer now. Lot less cluttered.

Maybe another idea... the poll on the left is using very large letters... make those letters smaller. If you make them just a little bit smaller than the normal font size, the poll will look neater.

Plus, the button colours... change em ;) The button at the bottom of the poll, and the google search button.

You could try making them gray.

<Input type="button" style="background-colour:#EEEEEE">

It usually makes it really nice, plus it would blend in nicely with your website.

Well, one more tip maybe...

The center text is really touching the edges.

Maybe encapsulating it with a <Div style="margin-left: 5px;margin-right:5px;"> might help making it look a bit more spacious.
