Seems simple and clear, and the header looks nice.
But personally,I don't like the color lightness, it makes my eyes a little uncomfortable.
And,the right side at Header. It's a very good place to put your Advertisement! Considering to show the time at bottom of site?

Oy, take the logo back into your design studio and try to eliminate the pixelation. Some type of rotation or transparency is giving it a nasty edge.

One other quick thing I noticed, "1st member to reach 100 posts gets a $25 aword coupon!" aw_a_rd
I'd love to change the world, but they won't give me the source code.

Ahh, adword, see? lol, I was misleaded ;) Good luck with it, you have a found principle, but just remember that forums take work, they're hard to make successful.
