Hello, Im aiming to build up a site independent writers and illustrators can use for collaboration projects and for promotion of self-published work. This is my first attempt at building a website - it's very basic - Frontpage 2003 with a few outings into html, and a one-day course on optimisation and accessibility. It's designed to be used by people who aren't particularly proficient on the Internet.
I'm now starting again to do a better one. I'm looking around for all the things I wish I'd known before I started. I'd be grateful for some comments along the lines of what I should be learning, where I can find better tools and designs and so on.
