Hello

I am re-doing my kids ptsa site this is the old site http://www.ccptsa.com, which someone else did.

and here is the one i am working on http://www.ccptsa.com/testsite/test.htm

I am trying to make it pretty simple but right now it seems so plain or blah. any suggestions? and i have only started working on the main page so everthing links back to the old stuff.

My suggestion for your site is to use round shapes, the colors are good, I like them.

It is very cute but you could redo that sidebar navigation.

Think outside the box. I see you used some beveling on your banner and some nice kid friendly art on that banner, find that person and have him/her create some alluring and kid motivating navigation art it will really make all the difference.

You are on the right track and I like the use of colors blue and white! You never fail when you use blue and white.

Is there any reason at all why the menu is made in Flash? If you had the world's coolest menu I'd might (but probably not) agree with using Flash, but the menu you have now can easily be made in pure old html+css.

Yea definitely re-think your navigation bar. Choose some more colours. You seem to have too much blue right now

In your footer you forgot to include the letter "P" in the bold and italics.

Otherwise it's a pretty cute site

Definitely do something with the menu bar, as metioned. How about using rollover images. But try to make them small file sizes so you don't have to wait for them to load when your mouse rolls over. And the images on the right menu bar don't load for me. The title of the page reads "Untitled Document". You could somehow incorporate the mascot, coyote into the design. The colors are nice, very clean and simple. Good job.
