nice content but the design is just a little too 'white' for my liking

perhaps reconsider your colour scheme?

ePurple Media has a very nice layout. I think that if there are too many colours in one web page, it begins to look a little over-the-top.

Your striped background looks nice.

Overall, there's not much I can say that is bad about it, really.
