wow this site has improved remarkably since I first saw it! a few more details though - first, the spacing. your 'hot offers' page is beautifully laid out, with a nice comfortable space between the left-side column with links to car models, and the right-side main content with quotes and images of cars. I suggest you make every page like that (on all the others the left and right side content are touching, which in my mind looks crowded. also see how much cleaner it looks without that gray page-curl effect? (the gray thing you have on the lower left corner of the main content div, on the 'home' and 'contact us' pages) I suggest that should go entirely.

Also as Breeze said some time ago, some of your car images are squished - to see what I mean look at the BMW Z4 or the Chevvy. it's probably because you forced images of different formats all into the same-sized box to make them fit where you wanted them on the screen. If you don't know how to fix them I can explain in more detail. they will look a lot better when they're properly proportioned.

but as I said - tremendous improvement! keep workin' at it

I'm not the biggest fan of Teal but that's just a personal preference.

When I bring up the page, it offsets to the right a little, kinda distracting for some one that a little anal like me.

Some Thumbnails are a little streched.... not a big worry

Overall, nice.

Hi celandine and many thanks for the very thorough further review. Regarding the images I have resized these to the default size of 44x44 and have no idea why some of them are looking squashed.

I'm sorry but I do not know what the gray page curl effect is.

Image
this is what the 'page-curl effect' is. it is a little gradient that makes it look like the div is actually a piece of paper, and one of its corners is curled or bent inwards. Personally I think it will look nicer without it......

as for the images, they must have been different sizes starting out. then when you brought them all to the same size, some squished and some didn't, depending on their original sizes.......

hope this helps at all...
