Hi to all,

I had my site reviewed here about 7-8 months ago. However since then I have done quite a lot of work on it. I would apprciate all of your comments/suggestions whether they are good or bad.

not totally sure what kind of feedback you're after (tech or commercial) but from a learning curve perspective I would suggest you...

1. try and remove the table formatting and replace it with pure css
2. replace all the inline styling.
3. the div "main" should have a minimum height setting that matches the length of your left menu

from a commercial perspective i can't honestly pretend i like the presentation but each to their own :) not my area of expertise but i think your "proposals" would be better in PDF format.

Hi Prime,

Many thanks for your comments.

You have obviously taken a bit a of time and gone through the site. The issue I have with the proposals is that not many people in the UK have full adobe, most have acrobat reader, this is why I left them in word format. We used to send proposal forms to customers in pdf format and most could not even open them!

The table formatting was not my idea but it serves it's purpose. I am totally *plum* with css, the site used to be only css and php but it did not provide all the functions I wanted.

"from a commercial perspective i can't honestly pretend i like the presentation" could you drill down a bit more on this as i have noticed our bounce rate has increased.

Cheers,

Pete

i assume you are not the guy behind "Website Designed and Maintained by San Arena" :?:

firstly, on the plus side you have a lot of great content, very important for search engines and most everything else is secondary.

leasing a car is a big decision, a lot of money involved. forgive me for being blunt but, by today's standards i think your website looks dated and dare i say... amateurish (v.sry). it does not give me confidence when i'm looking to spend a lot of money. it's not anything specific i can advise you on although i think a lighter coloured background may improve it. the site isn't "slick and stylish" enough to get away with black.

it's a better than a lot of sites but i would suggest you may wish to blue-sky your approach if your website is to better reflect the company.

good luck.

cheers, prime :D

Bad main image.

Many too many links on the left.

No idea for the layout.

Main banner, main logo should be always a hyperlink for main page.

Too dark colors.

And many more.

I think you should spend those 2000 euro and order professional website design.

No idea for the layout. It would help if you could explain this.

Main banner, main logo should be always a hyperlink for main page. Disagree.

Too dark colors. Colours are being changed.

And many more.

I don't think so!

go web, go *peach* yourself with your newbie approach to getting business. Your review was far from a review, it was a blatant attempt at soliciting business. Why don't you go and spam other sites.
