Hello,

I have been hacking away for several days now, and think I am ready for your input. Please review my site http://www.monkeymeter.com and let me know what you think...about anything. The sites been up all of 2005, but I have finally really gotten some work done on it.

It's a road rage site.

There is also one page I am still working on, it's the Trend Page so try to hold back on that one. I am trying to add dates to all of the bar graphs.

Thanks,

Rob

lol, this is an interesting site...i wonder where shotgun blasts at jaywalking squirrels fits in here....I think it would be neat if you had a us map graphic with image map links to all the cities and graphics of cars rolling across like Route 66 and the like. You might also want to put a section in for "Stopping Your Own Road Rage" with advice on the dangers and tips on how to avoid it personally. Overall, a neat site.

In regards to jaywalking squirrels, I have actually been thinking about that. Well not really, but I belong to another forum for humor webmasters, and a couple of them make flash games. I have been thinking of getting some kind of fun game made so the visitors can blast their fustrations if they are still raging.

I do have a section about with advice about road rage, but I guess I need to make it a little more obvious. It just has one link.

In regards to the map, I'n not sure if you ment a silly image, or something like this:
http://www.monkeymeter.com/gmap.php
I am trying to integrate the info into the google maps now.

Thanks for the Input!

Oh, and here is a link for everyone for Googles new Map API

http://maps.google.com/apis/maps/

The Google Maps API lets developers embed Google Maps in their own web pages with JavaScript. You can add overlays to the map (including markers and polylines) and display shadowed "info windows" just like Google Maps.

Nice site and well put together, but the Ads, the Ads are so huge that my eyes are drawn away from the content of the board to stare at 3 huge spiders crawling across the top and down the right side of your site..lol

Other than that though, a very original site with amusing content, good layout.

8/10.

Thanks for both of your inputs. The ads... you are right, and it was something I didn't noticed. When I look at my site the ads are blocked out, and I never realized how LOUD they can be. I am comfortable having ads, I just need to find a happy medium.

Nice all around, I would consider toning down the ads. I thought it was going to induce a seizure.

Hey you forgot Canada! I want to be able to vote for road rage in my city.

Add:
Vancouver, BC
Edmonton, AB
Calgary, AB
Winnipeg, MN
Saskatoon, SK
Toronto, ON
Ottawa, ON
Quebec City, QC
St. Johns, NF
etc...

Why are you limiting your traffic to only Americans?

That is something I most definately plan on doing. Just have not figured how I am going to do it yet. I plan on adding many countries besides the U.S.. No reason to miss out on traffic there.
