I changed the backround color from white to an offwhite, really and VERY light blue color. I think that made it a little easier on the eyes?

left menu can be resize to thin and smaller
same as the font, use css to make a better style

Overall I really like what you have done on the website. You do have a lot of content and that is good. I can tell you have spent a lot of time on it. If I did have to say anything to improve it, it would be the graphic at the top which looks like there should be some links there or could be? Overall a nice website!
