Hey guys,
Well its finally up....

Peopleshare! A website designed to help members find other people that share the same interests.

Its been a long hard slog, totalling 8 months of coding, late nights, and lots of swearing but finally, its there - well in BETA mode anyway.

Basically I have done everything myself, right from the db design, aesthetics right through to client side and server side coding.

Its been fun and its been frustrating!

Id like to get some thoughts, or opinions on the site and in particular (if possible) some members from Australia to provide their insights to what they think also.

Well, without further ado, here it is - http://www.peopleshare.com.au

Thanks

John

Nice and simple (though I'm sure it was far from simple to create)
For it's purpose, I think the design is great.

What is strange though is that on the 'join' page you have some sentences starting with capitals and some not. I think you were going for something there, don't know what, but it doesn't work for me.

I really like the 'tour' that you take people on to explain the concept, especially the second page where all the people are linked up.

I was about to join but you rejected me cos I'm outside of Australia!

Thank you kindly for your response and encouraging words.

I have just gone about changing all of the upper case text on the join page to lowercase. Im trying to keep everything lower case on the site. As for being outside Australia, im really not quite sure how to handle this - I did initially want to keep it just within australia alone.

Maybe I need to rethink this?

You got 15 errors on your homepage.

I think the title does not seem related so much to the site!

Registration form is to "compress" and confused, you can simplify or enlarge removing login box.

The site looks good! The only thing that bothered me slightly was the home page. It feels a little cramped. The other pages seem to have more of a consistantly spaced layout.
Perhaps you could move the bottom icons more evenly on the home page so it lines up with the other content?, unless you were going for the upside down pyramid feel.

good work! :D
