I agree about reworking. Kill the testimonials pic, put 'em on another page. Put offers on another page. Make links to them on the right, maybe. I like reading interesting pages, but this one is way too long! By the time they get to the end they think the site's way too cheesy and wanna go somewhere else. Just look at that teeny scrollbar! The colors are good, though, but don't make the recipie of the day a new window (or tab, in Mozilla Firebird). The mailing list confirmation could just be a same-window, 15-second redirect, or something like that, with a testimonial or something like that at the bottom. Overall, your site is a nice start, and will be great if you thin down your header and transfer the data from one long page into several shorter pages. This way, if they want testimonials, they can click on the testimonials link. If they really wanna buy, give them a link to that. Your front page should only be maybe 1 1\2 or so screens, as web attention spans (especially for those of us who have limited-time dial-up connections) are very short and would rather have lots of small pages that make us feel like our browser is doing something than one long page. Other than that, I think that this site is great. A chat room would be nice, but it is not really needed. A one-board forum might be an alternative, but whatever. Again, pretty good job.

I cant seem to find the links until i move my mouse on them. Whenever i see coloured text on that site, I thought its link. Reason? because the links aren't where i expect them to be... I dont know does this apply to anyone else, but thats what I think about it.

It is a basic design and nothing really catches my eye.
I think you should break it up into a couple of pages, testimonials on another page and ordering on another page etc,

My first impression of the site was good, It looks like a good casual site to get recipes. My only complaint is why is everything on one page? Maybe you could put some content on different pages and create a catching menu.
