Hi,
I'd like reviews on http://www.Rubix-Mall.com.

It's a site I am running with somebody else and the some grammar/spelling etc. is not too good on the site. I'd like comments more on the look of the site and the concept.

Thanks.

Hi,

Excellent concept, i admit to having been thinking of something similar  I was curious to know if/how you tend to offer any white-labelling else are they all 'Rubix-Mall' type shops :?:

I tried to register but the site appears to be incomplete ( :?: )

Good luck.

Cheers, Prime ...

Thanks for the comments so far.

Prime - Try going to http://www.rubix-mall.com/rent.html and simply fill out the form. Shops are added manually so will not show up for a few hours (24 at the very max).

Hi,

The site would work better if it was a database driven solution with shops opening in realtime. The development I worked on, currently on hold, allowed users to create a bespoke footer and header using HTML, details stored in the database etc ... Modelled on the dating-central.com solution.

Good luck though.

Cheers, Prime ... :D

Yeah, I agree that would be good. I, along with the person I am working with, will always be looking to improve the site and may explore that option as the site grows.

I like the site. The colours really work well and make the homepage look very inviting. Perhaps as an improvement you might consider significantly reducing the amount descriptive text on the homepage. Something short and sweet with a link to a page with more information may be suitable.

The concept you have going on here should work, it's not a bad idea. The dark colors are a little much and actually make reading the site somewhat difficult at times. Think about using some lighter colors that contrast better.
