http://www.searchpurple.com

I am still working on the color scheme, but besides that, how is the content/layout? I am also working on a "submit category" page.

Can someone also add their link to make sure it works? Thanks

Your logo is very grainy... I can see the pixels on the edges of the letters, it looks like you were trying to save file size by compromising the image quality.

And the color scheme... It matches the name!

I'm curious, are you planning on linking the search to another search engine? It just seems like creating another search engine is not a good idea since google took over.

Well, I plan on making it look a lot more like Google - with the search in the center of the screen by itself, and have the directory on a different page. But I just wanted to get the site up and running first before I start playing with the layout.

It doesnt help when you have a 0PR, because no one wants to add their link to the directory. Once google picks up the inbound links I just got, Im hoping the site takes off....

I dont mean to be nasty, but as soon as i opened that it looked just like one of thoes websites that companie's use for stealing domain names, and so i would normaly just close is.

Other than that the basic layout is tidy and easy to navigate through. :)
