different type of layout then the norm - I like it personally, one thing I always suggest is get a real web host. Personally and I do not know if only i think this but I do not like sites hosted by free servers.

Other then that site looks relativily good

Bill

looks pretty good, but here's a few things I would work to change -

1. the layout is a bit dark. The green and grey are ok, but it needs some
lighter colors. If nothing else, make a color change on the mouseovers.

2. remove the custom cursor. it's kinda tacky and sometimes hard to tell
where it is.

3. the layout is really skinny. I know mine is too, and received a lot of
criticism at one time. My next layout will have much more space used,
and I'm just suggesting you could and should do the same.

Actually this isn't too bad on the skinny. I'm guessing around 600px width? Personally, I like the clean layout on the individual News postings. But I also agree with some of the earlier comments. It's a bit dark, not horribly dark, but could use some complimentary/contrasting colors. Something that catches the viewers eyes. The only other thing I could think of is to get rid of advertisements if possible. Might not though, being your hosting on a 'free' server -- at least there isnt any popups.

I found the heading texts a little hard on the eyes (the brightest text on the page).

Other than that, the navigation was pretty easy and it felt slick.

It looks good, nice use of graphics, only i think its is too green. I would use the orange colour used on this page:

http://josephbn.netfirms.com/cgi-bin/nav/navigate.cgi?contents=about:index.htm

more, to break it up a bit and make it more visually interesting.

i agree about the hosting, better if you buy some. no banners etc

its good cos it fits nicely on a 640*480 RES.

not really a fan of the over and underlines on the links.

other than that its great

I like the cursor on the FAQ it makes a ?, but when it goes to cross hairs like Unflux said it is a bit tacky! As for the colors , I will let everyone else say ... Width does need to be adjusted 600-625 for maximum effect. MOST IMPORTANT....... DO A SPELL CHECK.. AND PROOFREAD... This is on your home page..

Should read "made". I do suggest rewriting the whole sentence. It does not sound well!

Very nicely laid out site I thought. I agree it is a little dark but I personally have no problems with that, as long as it's readable.
Two suggestions though. One, I agree with the previous poster about the hosts banner ads. I know free hosing does come with them but they can be distracting. My host charges less than $6 per month for the cheapie plan and I don't have to bother with ads, unless I want them of course. Two, as your guestbook gets longer you might want to add another "sign the guestbook" link at the BOTTOM of the page so you don't have to scroll all the way up after you've read them.
Still, nice site overall.

Nice site. I enjoyed the colour scheme except for the fact that you put grey text in some sections. I would change it to white so it's easier to see.
I agree with the others in that you should change the cursor on your site to something different.
Will someone tell me how to get something that emails me like you have on your site.
