Hello,

Name of site: http://www.zinway.com

Site's Main Purpose: Information and page rank checking

Please Review the following:
1)Does the home page sufficiently convince people to go further into the site?
2)Does/can the site achieve its main purpose?
3)Navigation. Is it clear and easy to understand?
4)Appearance/Attractiveness
5)Images failing to load
6)Search engine marketing. Can the pages be reasonably well indexed by search engines?

Thank you so much.

1) well, I dont think so... the home page is too simple and short and I just dont find the erge to explore deeper... its kinda boring.

2) Yes

3) Actually it took me a while to locate the navigation bar. The header and the red line are kinda over powering it.

4) The design is kinda boring. Also I think the header image is not appropriate for the site's concept. Baby blocks?

5) images load time is great

6) Yes, I think so.

1) Well, partially. It's too plain, and most of it is taken by ads?

2) Yes...but I didn't get what are those IPs displayed when I search for the page rank of some domain?

3) Not much..too plain, looks like an ordinary text link, there is no notation which is your current page, etc

4) It's too clean/simple..but for this type of site I don't think you need much more..

5) Didn't notice any

6) Can't say..

No, I don't think so because it looks very bare and plain.

 It's very hard to understand. Better explanation on the homepage could resolve this.

Yes, the navigation looks nice.

It is too bare and white, and there is hardly a layout, at all.

5)Images failing to load

No.

Erm... I don't know.

I think this could be a nice website, with a little work. If I was you, I'd edit it a little, and see what it looks like, once edited.

Firstly, i would say thanks for those who are willing to contribute comments. I appreciated that. :)

I fully understand that appearance is important. Therefore, website redesign ( header, a small changes in css etc ). Please review attractiveness. Shold i use gradient? Or rss feed as well?

One thing I want to say is that when I put in a link for the pagerank checker, and I added an "http://" then it didn't work, but when I took it out it did work, I first thought there was an error in your page or something ... please check that ... for example, I added http://www.dessoft.co.za first and the http://www.dessoft.co.za , and only the second one worked
Let's leave all our *plum* where it is and go live in the jungle ...

Well it did convince me to check my sites' PageRank but a better design is recommended.

Yes it is clear to understand what your site offers - PageRank check.

3)Navigation. Is it clear and easy to understand?

Somewhat yes. I had to visit the last link to see what it was about though. I recommend changing the last link on the navigational bar to "Site PageRank Display" or something that is clearer to understand.

4)Appearance/Attractiveness

The appearance is basic, but fine. I do recommend modifications to the template to make it look better, add more graphics or effects to it, etc.

5)Images failing to load

The images load fine.

6)Search engine marketing. Can the pages be reasonably well indexed by search engines?

I would presume so. Add more content that bots can pick up and index.

1) 2) and 3)

It is OK, but it would be better if you add this form http://www.zinway.com/pagerank-checker.php
on Homepage.

6)
You should create a page with each domain tested.
Example: http://www.pagerank.fr/rapport-indexati ... =skouk.com
This way you will have every day some new pages to provide to search engines.
