Hey all,
I am building a web based game. It contains flash elements and a number of ajax elements within a particular page.
The transmission of data between flash and PHP scripts will unfortunately not be encrypted. It isn't difficult to intercept POST transmissions and take a peek, re-sending the transmission with modified parameters to basically alter the course of the game!. I dont want this to happen.

What I want to know is, if I apply SSL to my domain & server, would it secure ensure the data transmission between the swf files and PHP files are encrypted and uninterruptable? its not super secure data, I just dont want people making changes to the data being sent, hoping to modify the game parameters and effectively cheat.

thanks anyone who can help with this!

cheers
