How's this for a switch. Microsoft releases something open-source that is actually beneficial to programmers.

I downloaded it but I haven't done anything with it yet. I imagine it has to be burned to a bootable CD. Is that correct?

I hadn't gotten that far. I do relatively little programming anymore outside of Flash.
