I was just curious if anybody here is currently listed in Yahoo's directory. I used to have a few sites in their directory, but not anymore. From what I hear you pretty much have to pay to have any chance of getting listed there now. Anybody listed in Yahoo (not the part powered by Google) ?

Oh by the way, I just checked on Yahoo and I do not see them listed in the directory. Only result I find for them is in the google search part. I typed in dream team and only saw 6 other results

Dream Team Site, The - includes character profiles, forum, and news.
Harchester Community - offers fans a forum to talk about the show.
Harchester Dragons - includes info, photos, and forum.
Harchester United Dream Team - provides details on the football club, along with fixtures, profiles, and TV coverage.
Harchester.net - dedicated to fans of Harchester United FC, Sky One's football drama series Dream Team.
HUTV - includes games, season reviews, articles, and more.

I used to have sites listed in Yahoo! as well, but not anymore... as I think they are focussing more on the sites paying them money to be listed. I am not positive though.

I too used to have a site listed at yahoo that is not there anymore and when I tried to submit my new site with my own domain name http://www.freeprogrammingresources.com (before I added advertisements) they still wouldn't list it even though I pay them to host the site. I think you have to have a really unique, free site - one with no ads or membership fee - to even have a chance of getting listed without paying.

Yeah I agree, I wonder what the chances of getting listed in their directory are, if you go for the pay submission, where they gurantee to review your site in like 5-7 days.

All I know is in the past I had listings, but now it seems impossible to get in there at least for free.

I see a ton of good sites out there that should be in Yahoo, and they are no where to be found. So in my opinion Yahoo has its share of problems when they do not know how to list good sites.

yours:

<table width="100%" cellspacing=0 cellpadding=0 border=0>
<tr>
  <td height=32 align=center valign=top background="images/menu_bottom_flag.gif">
</table>

mine:
<table width="100%" cellspacing=0 cellpadding=0 border=0>
<tr>
  <td height=32 align=center valign=top background="images/bsb_menu_bottom_flag.gif">&</td>
</tr>
</table>

you bastard ... I can tell 100% you copied that *plum* from my site
the rest of your tables all have their properties written else by an editor

I always leave out the "" when I use sizes on borders or spacings,
and I always handwrite my border=0> at the very end of the table tags for easy editing.

all the rest of your pages tables are differently written.

CONFESS now ...

btw - you left the closing tags for the TD and TR out

you and your Decoster's Kids SUCK !!!!

LOL

i admit it... like i said above it is a non profit site (i get $0.00)... and iwas trying to throw together a suitable look for a 100 hit per month site... anyway when i first started up my sexytopless site... i noticed a trickle of traffic from your site (you linked to my site on your links page)... so i linked back... anyway as i was checking out your site... at that exact moment, i had been looking for a nice checkered flag pattern for their site... so i didnt even know who your were at the time... all i knew was that some guy with a cool website had a cool graphic that i thought would look very nice... anyway lets face it... we have all used graphics from other sites at one time or another...

anyway... want me to remove it? i dont mind removing it....

or maybe you could chalk it up as ultimate flattery that i liked your work?

According to the HTML standards, the last two of these tags don't need to be closed; the </TR> and </TD> tags are optional.
