Anyone checked out the preview of Yahoo's new home page look?

Not a big fan of overcrowded portal pages. Google.com looks much more appealing :)

Yeah i agree. I think yahoo and MSNs biggest problem is thier portal pages.
If people want to search what makes them think they also want to look at the stock market and check thier email? On the homepage should be a search box, with text links to news and mail.

Actually, I prefer the old (current) layout than the new yahoo homepage.
Maybe, because I am used to it and don't like change very much :)

I like the old one better. I think the new look is probably more effective in getting to click on their ads.

Hey there,

I agree with the overcrowding.

I love simple designs and easy navigation.

Yahoo is starting to be like microsoft.. They are getting their hands in everything and it is starting to show :)

They recently added holland and zeeland michigan to their real estate part of their website and past my client up in the SERPs. More work for me to do now..

I do like the key phrase completer or whatever you want to call it.

It will be interesting to see how it will evolve 5 years down the road.

What do you guys think Yahoo will look like then? Do you think we will have a conversation with a search engine to find what we want heh.. I seen a video on youtube like that, but it was about google.

Sincerely,
Travis Walters

Yahoo looks good and with a lot of new services. But i think the layout is overcrowded but it quite helpful for those who wants to see the yahoo services.
