I woke up this morning, and as usual I always check my backlinks as common as I check my E-mail...Well this morning I got a surprise, the Yahoo, AltaVista, & AlltheWEb backlinks pretty much tripled overnight. I thought there might have been a glitch, so I cross checked my site with two other backlink tools...same results....I'm showing more backlinks for Yahoo & company than MSN....Is this here to stay, or do I need to slow down on the coffee???

I would suggest the coffee thing. Sit back and watch it for a while. It may be a fluke, or maybe not.

BTW, this should be in the Search Engine forum, not General.

When I check from Yahoo, my website backlink explode to more than 5000 link  . But if I click next result, it's only have 1470 links. Same as before :( It's really the same result/fatamorgana at MSN if you check your backlink.

Inktomi's bots have been very active in spidering lately. My opinion "Competition breeds results" - author unknown ( I may have just made that up.)
